Targeted for parents of teenagers, but with advice and techniques applicable to any age, Mr Tripp counters the culturally instilled belief that the teenage years are simply a time "to survive". Quite to the contrary, these are years to dig in and seize the opportunities to deepen communication, learn, and grow with our teens.
Mr. Tripp sets the stage by explaining the simple fact that "our communication problems with our teenagers exist not simply because or our child's character, but because of our idolatry" as parents...things like comfort, respect, control that prevent us from taking the time to deal with the heart issues.
